Locked Doors Project

Modeling, Layout, Editing.

Maya, Unreal Engine, Premiere Pro.

01. Corridor Scene

For the canteen scene I created the layout of the scene placing assets and creating others, going through all the process from the sketch to the final version.

01.1. Corridor Door

We wanted to animate the door in a certain way to the sides, so I modeled the door in Maya having as reference the model that I picked up before and animated it in Unreal Engine.

With the key frames, I was able to slow down or speed up the door peace easily for the upcoming changes.

02. Canteen Scene

For the canteen it was different, I had the sketch from another person of the project and I continued the work making a block out in Maya and the rest of the process in Unreal Engine.

03. Greenhouse Scene

The next scene that I did was the greenhouse, using models from assets packs and quixel bridge.

At some point, it felt something to this scene, so we decided to include to the ship map the corridors around the greenhouse.

04. Simulation Scene

In this case, I hadn't to do much for this room because the main focus of it was the simulation machine that another person of the group was modelling, so I only had to create the scene and choose the right textures to match all nicely.

05. CCTV Cameras

For the CCTV Cameras, I used a VHS effect, which I edited the parameters in the way I wanted and added the names of the rooms of each one.

06. Facial Animation

We needed more facial expression on some scenes so I managed to add it using Nvidia Omniverse on which I could add the audios of the speeches and change the emotions depending on the situation of the scene.

07. Mocap Animation

For the animation of the characters we recorded the movements with mocap and I edited the animations of the movements in Unreal Engine.
